The Legend of Agastya Muni
The great Rishi Agastya, one of the Sapta Rishi's, 7 Sacred beings from which Humanity has emerged, according to the Sanatam Dharma is attributed as being the Father of Indian Culture and lifestyle as it is today. He is said to have travelled extensively across the sub-continent, education and concentrating the land with the consciousness of the Supreme.
He wove spirituality into the very fabric of Indian culture. From temples to food and daily life and routines of Indian life, especially in Southern India, He transmitted this consciousness through methods and tools that are alive event today. Thousands of years later, people are still following these rituals and ways of living, without even realising that what they have taken for granted as a basic routine or simple aspect of daily living, is the Master Stroke of the great Rishi, allowing people event in the Kali Yuga to be connected in some way, even if only symbolic or exterior, to the higher consciousness.
Legend has it that even today, the great Rishi is spotted by people in the region.
